FAQs

Do you offer this technology in different forms?

Yes, we offer this technology in three distinct forms:

The Hyperion Card

This is a physical PCIe Accelerator card provided to the customer with a Kintex FPGA and all the Titan-IC IP pre-installed.  Hyperion is the PCIe-based RegEx accelerator based on Titan-IC’s Regular Expression Processor technology targeted at Xilinx Kintex UltraScale class Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Hyperion is a full-height, half-length,  PCIe-based card, with a Xilinx Kintex UltraScale XCKU115 FPGA, and is used as an offload accelerator for CPU-based systems.

The Helios IP

The Helios Regular Expression  Processor  is  a  unique, fully  scalable,  hardware  accelerated  solution  for content awareness  and  security  processing.  Helios is an  Intellectual  Property  (IP)  core  optimized  for  Xilinx  programmable products, and targeted for a wide range of applications supporting line rates from 10 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s and beyond. It provides at-speed, in- depth, rich syntax, packet and data inspection.  The Helios IP is available for FPGA regular expression acceleration, called Helios RXPF and as ARM-based ASIC or System on Chip (SoC) IP regular expression acceleration, called Helios RXPA.

Helios F1

This is an FGPA regular expression acceleration instance in the cloud available on Amazon Web Services AWS F1.   This is where AWS F1 provide you with an FPGA Amazon FPGA Instance (AFI) which acts similar to an Amazon Machine Image (AMI).  The Helios F1 will be available on the AWS marketplace and will provide pattern matching and string matching acceleration in the cloud.  The ability to scale pattern matching and string matching elastically by starting multiple Helios F1 instances is a game changer for high throughput low latency pattern matching and string matching applications.
